How To Find Products That Can Make $100,000 in Sales Each Month
Andy here. Today, I want to share with you how we found products that are making $100,000 a month for our business.
Finding and launching products are the two main areas where a lot of people struggle.
There are hundreds of things you need to know about selling on Amazon. But if you can’t find the right product, and launch the product correctly, all of those things will be meaningless.
A lot of sellers are always caught by the “paralysis by analysis” syndrome because they often complicate things. They’re afraid of everything that could go wrong when they don’t even have a product to sell.
You can’t let that fear mentality stop you from becoming a millionaire by selling on Amazon, because you worry about all that could go wrong, You worry about all the little details when you haven’t even found the right product or learned how to launch it correctly.
Today, we want to talk about how to find products. Specifically, the way we found some of our products that are now making $100,000 a month for our business.
How did Nate and I find our products?
One of the things we learned is that you need to be an expert on how Amazon shows their product catalogs to you and to your customers.
Imagine you are about to walk in a huge forest. If you have someone who’s an expert in navigating through the paths of the forest, it will be easier for you to find your destination.
The same thing with Amazon catalogs and finding those potential winning products.
If you or someone on your team knows how to navigate through Amazon like an expert, you’ll be able to find those winning products that you can sell for $100,000 a month faster and easier.
Look for the frequently bought together section of Amazon
After being an Amazon Seller for more than 9 years, we noticed something in our business.
We’ve discovered that we found some of our top selling products that we are currently selling just by looking at the frequently bought together section of Amazon.
Whenever we’re selling our product, and we see the customer who buys our product has bought another product, we check it out to decide if we can sell it ourselves. This allowed us to find a wide range of complementary products that we can cross-sell to our customers.
This is why it is important that you or someone you hire becomes an expert in understanding how Amazon is displaying those products.
The “frequently bought together” is like a goldmine of data that Amazon shows and gives us to let us see exactly what the customers are searching for when they find our product.
If you don’t have a product yet, this is a good thing. This allows you to find products that will complement the product you’re potentially looking to sell.
It’s like Amazon is telling you that if you sold this product along with that product, it’s going to be a really good match. You’re going to be able to build out your brand and your product line if you sell both of them together.

AMAZON SELLER DATA OF THE WEEK
Amazon Business Reports
Amazon just added the ability to view mobile data and desktop data on Amazon Business Reports. Go to Business Reports > Detail Page Sales and Traffic (By ASIN). Next, on the far right side of the page, click the “Hide/Show Columns” and choose the mobile and desktop data sets you want to view. With this new data, you’ll understand how to optimize your product detail pages and whether it’s best to optimize for mobile or desktop.
In the graph below, we took a look at our top 3 best-selling products and compared the sessions obtained from mobile and desktop. According to this data, desktop and mobile seem to be neck and neck in terms of sessions with a very slight favor for the Mobile App (Ranging from 51-53% of the total sessions) vs the Desktop Session percentage of 47-49%. This means that there definitely should be a shift in focus on optimizing the product detail pages, and storefront for mobile app users in the coming months. The number of sessions from mobile is only expected to grow as new improvements arise following the updates of the Amazon mobile app.
